At the end of the movie, Girl reads a poem about Boy titled "10 Things I Hate About You", revealing how hurt she was by Boy and how she really needs him.

Over the next several weeks I am going to list 10 things we hate about budgets. I know, I hear you.."April, there are so many more than just 10". We will talk about 10.
We are going to figure out WHY most hate budgeting and how to start to "heart" budgeting.
In our story, your budget did not live up to your expectations. It has let you down, broken your heart, told you no more times than you care to count. Jerk!

Why You Hate Budgets: Reason #10
10. It is Never Ending.
Unlike getting out of debt, which should be a 1-time ride...Budgeting is ongoing. I tell my clients to look at the budget 2x a month, forever.
Similar to the question I asked my orthodontist about my retainer "forever, ever?". Yes.
Like dying our grey hair or wearing heels, this is something we will do for the rest of our lives.
Go into it knowing that. Eyes open, cards on the table. Then "it" has no power over you. No surprises, no excuses. Like that Boy in the movie, you go into it knowing what the next 40 years are going to look like.
